You can help...

The Steamship Sir Walter Scott sailing on the loch.

The famous steamship Sir Walter Scott is maintained and operated (along with the other visitor facilities and services at Loch Katrine) by The Steamship Sir Walter Scott Limited, an independent charity whose main aim is the preservation of the ship itself, so that generations of visitors can continue to enjoy the special experience of sailing on Loch Katrine under steam power.

Funding the ongoing refurbishment work and the operation of a ship which is approaching its 110th birthday is a challenging task, and whilst the charity generates income from passenger fares and its other commercial activities, it also relies heavily on the donations it receives from sponsors and supporters, whose help is vital to keep the Sir Walter Scott in operation. Every contribution, including the smallest gift, helps the charity to achieve its aims, and supporters who wish to help keep the Sir Walter Scott in operation will soon be able to apply for membership of Friends of The Sir Walter Scott, offering a chance to receive some exclusive benefits, as well as supporting an important and worthwhile cause.

If you would like to receive details of how you can become a member of Friends of The Sir Walter Scott, simply click here to request further information.
